Dia de Amor in Cuba



Dia de Amor en La Concordia
What a spectacular dinner we had on a beautiful rooftop terrace at La Concordia Restaurant in Habana Centro! The sky was just melting into the deep blues of dusk as we arrived. We had not made a reservation, but they presented me with a lovely flower and found us a table within 10 minutes.




Brochette de Cerdo (Shish Kebab Pork)



The menu offered many delicious options at shockingly reasonable prices: entrees between 8 and 12 CUC, mostly, bread for $1.50, and in-season veggie salad for $3 CUC. We loved this place so much that we made a reservation for the next night at 8:00, so we would be there for their nightly live music.

    Aw! That sounds like fun! Maybe try emailing me photos, giving me your details and telling me where to upload them? Aline and I spent Valentines Day evening dancing cuban salsa, bachata and sewing matching blue silk underwear. :)
